1.) Decorate and light up your cozy rustic wedding with mason jars!  Fill mason jars with a couple inches of water with a single tea light.  Use larger jars with smooth stones on the bottom, filled with enough water to cover the stones and a few floating tea lights.

2.) Flowers play an important part in rustic wedding ideas.  Get creative with country floral!  Adorn your flower girls with a garland crown made with flowers in the colors you want.  Consider daises for your bridesmaids’ hair and as boutonnieres for your groomsmen.  Instead of exotic expensive flowers, go country chic with wild flowers and fern greenery.   Wrap straight twigs together with twine around thick clear column candle holders (you could wrap directly around a thick candle, but this is not recommended due to fire hazzards)   Tall stalks of wheat make a unique impression when wrapped in the middle of wide ribbon.

b.) Rice Crispy Treats! A childhood favorite, decorated with frosting and sprinkled with your wedding colors.  Pack the decorated treats in a recylced cardboard box with twine ribbon to let guests feel like their getting a trully special wedding favor.

c.) Sweet Tea!  Help your guests remember Southern hospitality wherever you are by serving up some fresh sweet tea.  While refreshing and tasty, this is also a cheap way to add authenticity to your rustic wedding.

4.) Doll up your wedding with tree stumps and branches!  Give an old tree a new lease on life by using sawed branches to show off your love of nature while adding depth and height to your tables and centerpieces.  Stacking things on top of rustic stumps is a clever way to show off food, centerpieces, or anything really.

5.) Of all rustic wedding ideas, this one is sure to get your guests talking.  Bails of Hay instead of chairs! Be creative in the seating arrangement and use covers with alternative cloths in solid colors.  Borrow some wagons filled with hay to park around for decorations or for the kids to sit on.  If big enough, have your singers or entertainment perform from the wagon.
