Cupcakes May Replace The Real Cake On Your Wedding Day

Whenever I go to a wedding, I cannot help but wonder if the cake is true or not. What I mean is that I know that the base layer of the cake is true but if it’s a 3 or 5 tier cake, is the rest actual or not? I suppose I’ll never know because I personally believe that it would certainly be embarrassing for the couple to confide that kind of knowledge. And I am merely a guest so I would certainly have to respect their privacy regarding that matter.

Anyways, to all those who wouldn’t want to be in that type of condition when your wedding day comes, I advise that you come up with newer yet cheaper alternatives with regards to the wedding cake. If you’re going to take a quick internet tour on the newest trends with regards to wedding cakes and such, you will notice other activities than just cake. You will see cupcakes that are usually put jointly in layers to form or appear like a cake. There are generally ones that are usually packed individually in transparent plastic boxes with pretty ribbons for you to be capable to stack it very easily. The last thing you would like is for use on your wedding cake or wedding cupcakes to collapse even before you eat or distribute it.

This reminds me of some wedding concepts that I have seen at a recent wedding expo at the mall last week. It has always been a tradition that only the newly wed couple may eat their wedding cake while the guests watch them feed each other. Nowadays, you can even share the wedding cake with all the guests and make it your wedding souvenir as well. Isn’t that a good way saving up on dessert and souvenir? You get to share your “wedding cake” with your guests and everyone else which they could eat as dessert after the main course and at the same time, they can take a picture of it as a souvenir before eating it. I think it’s very practical and it will actually save you a lot of money.

You could even design the cupcakes according to your interest. The traditional wedding cake will absolutely cost you an arm if you are going to have just one custom-made for almost everyone to share but with cupcakes, each just one may be designed as the others and it’ll obviously taste just as heavenly as the real wedding cakes, only in smaller servings.

You may even have it dipped in either white or dark chocolate before you have the other details designed onto each cupcake. Some meticulous customers and clients prefer to have each one hand-made while some wouldn’t mind having edible ink printed on fondant to make it easier and to be able to produce more cupcakes in lesser time.

Personally, I think it doesn’t matter whether you’re going to have a real wedding cake on your wedding reception or if you prefer to have a stack of wedding cupcakes fabulously designed to fit your big day. What matters is that you get by the special day successfully without having to suffer any consequences in the end. Sometimes, people tend to overspend and we go beyond our means. Being practical also means being creative in your own little ways to make sure that what you need is what you get.

Wedding Costs – Who Spends For Which

I think getting prepared for your wedding is one of the most anticipated events in a couple’s life. This is when everything is being settled to make sure that the big event is a successful one. We want everyone to remember this special day because everything turned out perfectly.

However, no matter how much we prepare for this day, there seems to be always something wrong bound to happen. Like the band that is supposed to play on your wedding reception didn’t come because they were only paid to play on your wedding ceremony and that’s it. Nobody arranged for how long the reception location will be used and now the management is requesting for everyone to vacate the place in an hour because there will be another reception to take place in the next hour.

All these unwanted scenes and so much more could happen when the responsibilities are not delegated evenly to both the bride’s and the groom’s party. They may be avoided in a lot of ways. Both the bride’s and also the groom’s side should communicate really well to avoid any assumptions that the other side paid for this and that so we do not have to pay for this and that. Having this kind of attitude spells out disaster in a wedding preparation.

Proper delegation should be recognized in preparation of a wedding. Normally, there is a list of the traditional wedding cost designation for the bride and the groom’s family. This will actually help both parties to decide on which costs to pay for and if they think that this is not applicable to them, then they would need to split up designations to make sure that everything’s fare and square. You don’t want your in-laws fighting over the costs of your wedding even before they become legally in-laws, do you? Of course not. So here are some of the traditional wedding cost designations that could help organize your wedding expenses.

The bride’s family can take care for all the cost of the wedding ceremony such as the location of the wedding ceremony, the rentals for the chairs, lights, music and the decorations that will adorn the entire wedding location. You can have flowers for the decorations which is normally the case for weddings. They would also be the ones responsible for the entire wedding reception cost, which includes the location of the reception, the food and type of beverages to be served, music or live entertainment, the reception decorations and of course, the most anticipated wedding cake. The bride’s family will also provide the gift for the groom. They are also in charge of the photographers and the photo coverage of the wedding and the reception. And finally, the wedding gown that the bride will be wearing.

The groom’s household wedding assignments include the rings to be worn by the new couple, the marriage license, the bride’s flower bouquet and the flower corsages, the rehearsal dinner and of course, who could forget the honeymoon where the new couple will enjoy their brand new married life together. There isn’t much to add unless of course you want a really extravagant and fabulous wedding. Then most likely you could add more to the list given that everything will be taken care of to avoid any inconveniences on your big day.

Wedding Knife and Cake Server Set – The Right Choice For Your Wedding

Cutting the cake in the history of weddings has always been a great tradition. Some brides and grooms are reserved, just carefully placing the cake on the tip of the tongue, making sure that there are no crumbs on either side of the mouth. They savor every morsel and are even a little shy about it. Then there are those who really want a rip-roaring time of it, and cram as much cake as they can as fast as they can into wherever they can. Either way, there is one thing that is common in any kind of cake cutting ceremony. It is the knife and cake server set. Choosing one of these sets is just as important as choosing the flatware or the china. It will be a memento of that special day for the rest of the couples’ lives. There are many to choose from, and here are a few:

Personalized: A very nice touch is to get your names and/or the date of your wedding engrave into each handle. It is a great way to remember your special day. It also something that can be passed down to generation to generation.

* Gold: If you want a warm and rich look, gold is the way to go. Depending on your budget, different plating is available, and it will be a fabulous choice for any wedding. For centuries gold has been the coveted metal of choice, and it is not likely to change after all this time.

* Crystal: Every woman’s’ best friend is the diamond, and the crystal handled knife and cake server set will go along nicely with a wedding that is dripping with diamonds, and crystal stemware. That icy look has a draw that lets you know it’s something special.

* White: Classic in every sense of the word. White is always appropriate and will go with everything. If you are a little on the traditional side, you can’t go wrong with white. Out of any of the options available, white has been with weddings the longest.

* Ivory: Ivory has always been coveted. Ivory has an inviting look. Who can resist the warm feel of it? Especially if it is not a first wedding. But, even if it is, ivory has a charm all its own.

Colors: Many people choose cake server sets with handles that are the colors of their wedding. This is great to tie everything together. You can also choose a color that sticks out from your original colors to make a statement.

* Without Accents: What if you just can’t choose? If everything else fails, and you simply don’t want all the fancy handles that you have seen, selecting one without any accents is perfectly acceptable. Some people have a more simple taste, and would rather do without all the fluff, and this type will suit them much better. This set will get the job done just fine, and maybe fit you a little bit better. Maybe you are one of those that doesn’t want to spend more than you need to on the cake set. If this is the case, then this one is the way to go.

This has been a tradition for a long time now so make sure that you find the wedding knife cake server kit that is right for you.
